A MyGeneCode gift is a symbolic dedication. It does not confer any legal, scientific, or property rights in any gene, DNA sequence, or organism. No one can own a gene; a dedication is a commemorative keepsake only.

Gene information is curated from trusted, public genomic databases and is provided for educational and commemorative purposes. It is not medical, diagnostic, or genetic-testing advice.
